We discuss the objectives of our marketing department and use past and present campaigns to show the principles of advertising, promotion and market research.
Pupils will learn how using a computer they can program a robot to perform specific tasks and understand the terms input, process and output.

Introducing the workings of a fairground ride, including gears, pulleys, levers, cranks and cams.
Which mechanisms do we use to make our rides work?
Delve into the planning, marketing research and commercial issues involved in designing a new ride. An on-site demonstration explains motion, mechanisms, systems and controls.
A close-up of the various elements needed to control a successful ride, with an on-site demonstration. Including PLCS and fail-safe mechanisms, ride sensors and animatronics.
Children explore design and computer control, then test the performance of their robots on a unique electronic playing field.
Explore movement and forces, including gravity and friction.
Keeping it top-secret until its launch isn’t an easy task – especially when it’s the first of its kind. In this exciting talk we’ll discuss the practicalities of launching a ride and use our brand new rollercoaster as our case study. We’ll explore how the ride was designed, built and the marketing campaign behind it. An on-site demonstration for your students is, of course, a must!
